LiftIQ — last updated 12 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information LiftIQ ("the app") collects when you use it, how we use that information, and the choices you have. We collect only what is necessary for the app to work.

1. Who runs LiftIQ

LiftIQ is operated by Preet Singh ("we", "us"), based in India. For privacy questions, contact preetsingh3001@gmail.com.

3. Where data is stored

Account, training, and subscription data are stored on Supabase (Postgres) in the AWS Asia-Pacific (Mumbai) region. Crash logs are stored on Sentry. In-app purchase receipts are validated through Apple App Store Connect and RevenueCat. Training videos remain on your device unless you opt to upload them; uploaded videos are stored encrypted at rest in Supabase storage.

4. Third-party processors

5. How we use your data

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

6. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA), you have the right to grievance redressal. Email preetsingh3001@gmail.com with the subject line "DPDPA grievance" and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account inside the app removes all personal data within minutes. Backups of the database are retained by Supabase for up to 7 days, after which they are also purged. Crash logs are retained by Sentry for 90 days.

8. Children

LiftIQ is rated for users 17 and older due to its focus on barbell training, which carries injury risk. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Security

All network traffic is encrypted with HTTPS / TLS 1.2+. Database access is gated by row-level security so each user can only read or write their own rows. Auth tokens are stored in the iOS/Android secure keychain. We do not have access to your password — Supabase stores only a salted hash.

10. International transfers

Sentry processes data in the United States. RevenueCat processes data in the United States. Apple and Google process data globally. By using LiftIQ you consent to your data being processed in these jurisdictions.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced inside the app on next launch.
